TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The tree and pot with integrated water reservoir remain the property of Rooted throughout the term of rental.

  2. We deliver our trees personally after agreeing a delivery date or collection point. A signature/ ID is required so please ensure someone is at home to sign for the tree or permission to collect for you. We understand that sometimes unavoidable things happen and would appreciate a phone call to avoid a wasted journey as we like to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum (same applies to collection).

  3. If you want to cancel your order then you must notify us by emailing in at info@rooted-christmastrees.com at least a week before the scheduled delivery date. We will then be able to issue a full refund, If you cancel within the week window we will refund minus 75% of the cost. If these requirements are not adhered to then we will not be able to refund as this affects delivery arrangements and organisation.

  4. Your Christmas tree will be delivered to and collected from your doorstep. We would love to help you carry it indoors/outdoors but to maintain social distance we just cant do this. So please ensure you have someone to help you if necessary.

  5. All decorations must be removed prior to collection of the tree.

  6. The hirer must follow the care instructions or the customer risks losing their £15 deposit. These form part of the Terms & Conditions.

  7. The hirer must NOT use artificial snow/flock/glitter sprays. These contain chemicals, will seriously damage the tree and we will need to recover the cost from the hirer.

  8. If any damage is caused to the tree, or if the care instructions are not followed, we reserve the right to keep the deposit.

  9. Trees cannot be refunded or returned, except in accordance with your legal rights, for example in the event they are faulty or damaged.

  10. The cancellation right under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 does not apply to plants.

  11. The trees are living so may have their own unique shape, you cannot return a tree if you do not like its shape.

  12. The trees should all be happy and healthy, if you feel your tree is not we advise you to let us know as soon as possible. If you contact us within 48 hours with a detailed explanation and provide photos as required of the issue we will endeavour to replace the tree at the next available delivery slot if we feel it’s necessary.

  13. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we treat any data you provide us.

  14. We will refund the deposit once the tree has been received and checked to be in good order.
